As depending on who is using it. And whatever the lifestyle of the persons may be, bathrooms can come in various sizes and shapes. It can look very rich and large and can serve more purposes than what it is originally meant for. It actually depends on the user, and how much money he or she can spend on making it cosy and comfortable. So also the bathroom flooring will also depend on this choice. However, the one thing, that remains, and in both the cases is that the bathroom flooring needs to be chosen very carefully. This choice to depend upon the kind of accessories and fixtures that are being used in the bathroom. If not taking good care of the bathroom can be very dangerous and can create many accidents. One has to therefore be very careful, not only about the flooring but also the maintenance of the bathroom in general. Therefore, one is to consider the safety aspect when choosing the bathroom flooring.

Depending on the size of the bathroom, one can decide upon using a carpet flooring or normal flooring for the bathroom. The advantage of the carpet flooring is that it absorbs the water from the body and the feet when one steps out of the shower. On the other hand, it also has certain disadvantages. The carpet needs to be cleaned and dusted and dried very frequently. If this is not done the carpet can be damaged, and will have to be changed periodically. Marble flooring on the other hand, can last for many years. However, marble flooring is not suggested for the bathrooms as it is very slippery in nature and can cause accidents. It is, however, beautiful looking flooring and can be used in the dry areas of the bathroom. However, one needs to be very careful and considered all the safety precautions when installing marble flooring in a bathroom.
